YOUR NEW ROLE?
Your new role?as Social Care Worker will involve a broad range of
responsibilities including respecting each individual who uses the
service as an equal citizen, acting as a key worker for specific
individuals, ensuring a person-centred approach to service delivery is
used and that all HIQA regulations and legislations are followed
accordingly. In your new role you will also be responsible for the
house accounts and for attending and contributing appropriately at
meetings and courses as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED?
To be successful for this role you will have a minimum of a QQI Level
7 - BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent relevant qualification
in Social Care or Health related field. In addition to this, you will
possess the skills and competencies applicable to working with persons
with an intellectual disability including responsibility, commitment,
understanding, reliability, and leadership skills.
